In Clinic Diagnostics
Just as with human medicine, in certain illnesses or surgical events it may be necessary to take a look at your pet’s bloodwork prior to the procedure. Our facility has the ability to run a complete blood count (CBC) to determine the amount of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets present in your pet. We can also determine how well your pet’s organs, including liver and kidneys, are functioning through a blood chemistry analysis. Finally, we can find and observe your pet’s electrolyte levels to determine if fluid therapy is necessary. Our equipment can perform these important tests within minutes in the case of an emergency, or while you wait prior to surgery. Ask one of our trained staff members or doctors if you have any questions about how bloodwork can benefit your pet.
We provide in-house EKG as well as consultations with cardiology specialists including online consultation services.
